Sharath Kumar Parameshwar Bhat is a Research Associate for the Geospatial Analytics and Decision Management Group at the Institute for Transport Research and Education (ITRE) at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. He develops data visualizations for analyzing traffic crash and enforcement data to help improve traffic safety planning and enforcement effectiveness. Sharath builds data visualizations and web-based visual analytics tools that provide insightful and actionable content for improving traffic safety planning. Prior to joining ITRE, Sharath worked as an Application Developer at IBM. Sharath holds a Master’s in Computer Science from University of North Carolina, Charlotte (2017), and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from UVCE, Bangalore, India (2014).
